Dustin presented the fourth annual “Enough Talk, Hurry Up And Do It Already Arts Scholarship” today at Ecole Sir John Franklin High School in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada, Dustin’s old high school. Dustin established the scholarship four years ago to promote and celebrate students from the school who are pursuing studies in the fine arts (dramatic arts, film, writing).

This year, with the amazing support of the Yellowknife Community Foundation who administers the scholarship, Dustin was able to award TWO $1000 scholarships. Congratulations to Hailey McLeod and Jeromy Deleff!

Below is a shaky-hand (sorry!) video of the scholarships being presented.

Hey, yesterday I participated in Dodger’s Day at Dodger’s Stadium in LA and it was kick-butt!

It’s an entire day where foster kids, parents, mentors and community leaders from the LA area get to hang out, win prizes, receive free stuff like books and Dodger’s gear and some school supplies. There were a lot of great speakers at the event, talking about the importance of community support for the overall benefit of not only the foster kids and foster care providers of the city, but the entire community as a whole.

Children Uniting Nations was responsible for the event, along with many other great organizations. Here’s there link: Children Uniting Nation’s Home

I got to meet a bunch of great mentors, kids, and of course a few celebs who were all there to help out and enjoy the sunshine and Dodger’s Game we were all treated to after the festivities!

One guy, you’ve probably heard of, was real cool, so I’m gonna give him a shout out: PROFESSOR from the Ball-up/And One crew, this one’s for you! ——–Ball Don’t Lie———-

Check out his movie this fall/winter, it’s sure to be amazing if you like amazing basketball so, there you go.

Anyway, big thanks to everyone at CUN and the Dodger’s for letting me hang out and be a part of a good thing for a day.

-Dustin
